13 US Presidents When They Were Young

My test. I noticed myself entering rooms, and looking blankly for a few seconds, wondering why I was there, more and more often. I would leave my keys down, and completely forget where I’d left them. It wasn’t just my keys. I’d routinely forget where I left my purse, and my phone. And when I was at work, I’d notice myself feeling very tired in the afternoon. It felt like my brain had switched off, and my concentration and focus were quickly following suit. Meet Jay Lavery, The Dancing Farmer Whose Barn Dance Video Went Viral

Dancing is how I stay warm in the barn and I never know when I’m going to break out into a dance. Dancing along with yoga and meditation are my only alternatives to pain medication. So I hope this can inspire anyone to move in spite of pain and I hope this puts a smile on your face for the New Year.

Instead of asking for an easier life, which is likely futile anyway, he suggests we ask of ourselves how we can be stronger. Like the philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche, Bruce Lee believed that what doesn’t kill us makes us stronger. Through hardship, we can become a better version of ourselves.
